As I went for the yellow light I wanted to experiment with another light source in order the illuminate specific sculptures. Showing the textures and qualities created by this material.

I was given the idea of a bike light- this is practical and can be placed anywhere in the room, attaching to things. It is also in keeping with the concept.

Technically I found it it was quite hard to hang then because of the way it sits, the light doesn't direct stay where I want it to on the pieces. Also there was the issue that because the lights are black it adds distraction to the composition of the sculptures. I had to figure out where best it could sit and work in the space.

Last minute I experimented with the tarmac NOS canisters I had made, placing them on the same rod that I used for the dummy in my space last semester. I really liked the look of this, especially if a light was able to shine low on the specific piece in the space. However, from moving it around in relation to the other sculptures I thought that it looked slightly cluttered and pointless so have decided not to include this.

Decisions Being Made

This is the final composition of all the works that I have decided to go for. As well as the floor completely finished. I really like the finish the paint has created as it looks slightly hallucinogenic, with waves or ripples.

Creating a metal shelf for this piece

I like the feature of my sunnies with this piece as it personifies the work and creates that anthropomorphic quality about the work. It also ties in 'rave' sunglasses have they become a symbol of activity as well as festivals.
