Tarmac- PIPE

In another attempt to get the tarmac to do what I want it to do, I have used this half pipe to tightly bash together the granules, slowly tipping it so that it doesn't collapse up the sides. My intentions with this one is to paint it with resin to a) see how it will hold b) see if I like the shiny finish. The shiny finish could be a wet raining day? as beads of water collect on the surface of the road.

The tarmac is holding stronger with the resin but quite a few coats is needed before I can remove it from the pipe. I will try to do the same with the paving slab. Im not too keen on the finish but I may try mixing the material with resin in the next experiment to see the finish and durability of that.
